* package: remove 'v' prefix from github-fetched packagesGravatar Victor Huesca2019-06-192-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | On Github, a large number of projects name their tag vXYZ (i.e v3.0, v0.1, etc.). In some packages we do: <pkg>_VERSION = v0.3 <pkg>_SITE = $(call github foo,bar,$(<pkg>_VERSION)) And in some other packages we do: <pkg>_VERSION = 0.3 <pkg>_SITE = $(call github foo,bar,v$(<pkg>_VERSION)) I.e in one case we consider the version to be v0.3, in the other case we consider 0.3 to be the version. The problem with v0.3 is that when used in conjunction with release-monitoring.org, it doesn't work very well, because release-monitoring.org has the concept of "version prefix" and using that they drop the "v" prefix for the version. Therefore, a number of packages in Buildroot have a version that doesn't match with release-monitoring.org because Buildroot has 'v0.3' and release-monitoring.org has '0.3'. Since really the version number of 0.3, is makes sense to update our packages to drop this 'v'. This commit only addresses the (common) case of github packages where the prefix is simply 'v'. Other cases will be handled by separate commits. Also, there are a few cases that couldn't be handled mechanically that aren't covered by this commit. * boot, package: use SPDX short identifier for BSD-2cGravatar Rahul Bedarkar2017-04-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | We want to use SPDX identifier for license string as much as possible. SPDX short identifier for BSD-2c is BSD-2-Clause. This change is done using following command. find . -name "*.mk" | xargs sed -ri '/LICENSE( )?[\+:]?=/s/BSD-2c/BSD-2-Clause/g' Signed-off-by: Rahul Bedarkar <rahulbedarkar89@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>

* package/libopenh264: bump version to 1.5.0Gravatar Bernd Kuhls2016-07-302-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Bumping to 1.6.0 is not possible atm because ffmpeg fails to compile with it. Patches to solve the problem were committed to ffmpeg master: http://git.videolan.org/?p=ffmpeg.git;a=commit;h=293676c476733e81d7b596736add6cd510eb6960 http://git.videolan.org/?p=ffmpeg.git;a=commit;h=c5d326f551b0312ff581bf1df35b21d956e01523 Backporting fails so let's just wait for the next ffmpeg bump to bump libopenh264 as well. * package/libopenh264: add .hash fileGravatar Romain Naour2016-06-181-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | Similar to jquery-keyboard, it seems the libopenh264 tarball on the autobuilder is corrupt. Fix it by adding a .hash file so it falls back to our s.b.o mirror. Signed-off-by: Romain Naour <romain.naour@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <peter@korsgaard.com>

[Thomas: - make the license info more specific: it's BSD-2c, not just BSD. - use a single conditional block to test the architecture, instead of multiple separate conditions. - add missing arm/armeb handling in the architecture condition. - make the host-nasm dependency only used on x86/x86-64, since it's not used for other architectures - group the ARCH= and ENABLE64BIT= make variable definitions in a LIBOPENH264_MAKE_OPTS variable, and use them at install time (in addition to build time) to avoid build issues. - wrap too long lines in the .mk file.] Signed-off-by: Bernd Kuhls <bernd.kuhls@t-online.de> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>
