* package/libplayer: remove packageGravatar Peter Korsgaard2020-02-085-126/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | Libplayer is dead upstream. The mercurial repo is no longer online, it hasn't seen any releases since 2010 and the mplayer backend was removed from Buildroot in 2018. With the upcoming removal of gstreamer 0.10, there is no longer any backends available in Buildroot, so remove the package. Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <peter@korsgaard.com> Signed-off-by: Yann E. * gstreamer: needs dynamic librariesGravatar Arnout Vandecappelle (Essensium/Mind)2017-11-051-2/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fixes: http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/49d/49dcec0bd2f3bb78c18675a9fa5c9c53cc183fd2/ g_cclosure_marshal_VOID__VOID is defined both in libgobject.a and libgstreamer.a. It is probably possible to fix this, but gstreamer0.10 has been deprecated for a long time now and is anyway unlikely to be used in static-only situations, so let's just require dynamic linking. Propagate to the reverse dependencies. opencv3 already did depend on dynamic libs. * package/lib*: fix wrapping of Config.in help textGravatar Adam Duskett2017-07-311-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The check-package script when ran gives warnings on text wrapping on all of these Config files. This patch cleans up all warnings related to the text wrapping for the Config files starting with lib in the package directory. The appropriate indentation is: <tab><2 spaces><62 chars> See http://nightly.buildroot.org/#writing-rules-config-in for more information. | | | | | | | | | | | | | The check-package script when ran gives warnings on ordering issues on all of these Config files. This patch cleans up all warnings related to the ordering in the Config files for packages starting with the letter l in the package directory. The appropriate ordering is: type, default, depends on, select, help See http://nightly.buildroot.org/#_config_files for more information. | | | | | | | | | | | We want to use SPDX identifier for license string as much as possible. SPDX short identifier for LGPLv2.1/LGPLv2.1+ is LGPL-2.1/LGPL-2.1+. * package/mplayer: needs BR2_TOOLCHAIN_HAS_SYNC_4Gravatar Bernd Kuhls2016-07-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Even though mplayer bundles the ffmpeg code base (and ffmpeg is not affected by this issue), mplayer uses its own build system and doesn't test properly for the availability (or not) of atomic operations. In order to keep things simple, we simply make mplayer depend on the availability of atomic operations, since it assumes they are available. The reverse dependency is propagated to libplayer and tovid. * arch/arm: drop ARM(7TDMI/720T/740T) supportGravatar Gustavo Zacarias2014-05-081-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The toolchain currently doesn't build for nommu ARM and is in need of serious work. Problem is there are no emulation targets and real ARM(7TDMI/720T/740T) hardware that's capable of running linux (enough memory, having a memory controller...) is VERY rare and uses very old versions to make it usable. The ARM nommu focus should go into Cortex M series processors that are obtainable at reasonable cost on modern hardware that has external memory controllers. * libglib2: needs threadsGravatar Spenser Gilliland2013-07-271-2/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit adds a dependency of the libglib2 package on thread support in the toolchain, since upstream libglib2 doesn't build without thread support. The commit is rather large as it involves propagating the dependency on thread support to all reverse dependencies of the libglib2 package.
