* all packages: rename XXXTARGETS to xxx-packageGravatar Arnout Vandecappelle (Essensium/Mind)2012-07-171-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Also remove the redundant $(call ...). This is a purely mechanical change, performed with find package linux toolchain boot -name \*.mk | \ xargs sed -i -e 's/$(eval $(call GENTARGETS))/$(eval $(generic-package))/' \ -e 's/$(eval $(call AUTOTARGETS))/$(eval $(autotools-package))/' \ -e 's/$(eval $(call CMAKETARGETS))/$(eval $(cmake-package))/' Signed-off-by: Arnout Vandecappelle (Essensium/Mind) <arnout@mind.be> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>
* valgrind: unbreak arm support after REAL_GNU_TARGET_NAME removalGravatar Peter Korsgaard2012-06-261-1/+1

* valgrind: allow selecting which tools to installGravatar Thomas De Schampheleire2012-04-051-0/+95
| | | | | | | | | | | The full valgrind installation takes more than 20 MB, while one typically does not use all of its tools. This patch adds extra config options to select which tools to install. [Peter: Don't default experimental tools to 'y' as suggested by Arnout] Signed-off-by: Thomas De Schampheleire <thomas.de.schampheleire@gmail.com> Acked-by: Arnout Vandecappelle (Essensium/Mind) <arnout@mind.be> Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>
* valgrind: bump to 3.7.0 and fix build with ccacheGravatar Thomas Petazzoni2012-01-021-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | After bumping to 3.7.0, the valgrind-3.6.1-configure-support-linux-3.patch is no longer necessary since it was added upstream. The valgrind-3.7.0-compiler-check.patch patch is added to fix a compiler version check issue (patch taken from the upstream Subversion repository). The valgrind-3.7.0-fix-ccache-support.patch is added to fix the build process when ccache is used. * package: remove useless arguments from AUTOTARGETSGravatar Thomas Petazzoni2011-09-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Thanks to the pkgparentdir and pkgname functions, we can rewrite the AUTOTARGETS macro in a way that avoids the need for each package to repeat its name and the directory in which it is present. * valgrind: bump to 3.6.1 and add support for ARMv7Gravatar Thomas Petazzoni2011-07-111-79/+20
| | | | | | | | | We removed the shell script that wrapped valgrind (not nice to install such non-standard things), and will let the user use the uclibc.supp suppression file if needed. * buildroot: silence ./configure step when building with 'make -s'Gravatar Peter Korsgaard2009-10-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | We have been passing -q to ./configure when using 'make -s' for packages using Makefile.autotools.in for some time. Do the same for packages using autotools, but not using the Makefile.autotools.in infrastructure, taking care to not do it for packages with hand written configure scripts. * valgrind: don't remove TARGET_DIR/usr/lib/pkgconfigGravatar Peter Korsgaard2008-07-011-5/+0
| | | | | There's no need for removing the pkgconfig files in valgrind.mk as that is now handled by the generic BR2_HAVE_DEVFILES.

* fixup a whole steaming pile of insanity. When packages are configured,Gravatar Eric Andersen2007-01-141-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | they should be configured with --prefix=/usr and we then need to use make DESTDIR=$(STAGING_DIR) install to get things installed into the staging directory. The current situation for many packages, which use --prefix=$(STAGING_DIR) results in the staging_dir paths getting compiled into the binary itself. This also adds in a pile of libtool fixups. Between broken pkgconfig, broken libtool handling, and broken --prefix settings, its a wonder things have worked as well as they have up till now. -Erik
